Hotel Maya, Long Beach Oceanfront Wedding | Wonhee + Sungmin

Who needs a destination wedding in Hawaii when you could bring the sea to you? Having lived so close to the coast in southern California, Wonhee and Sungmin have always wanted to go sailing. Their wedding was at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, across from the gorgeous harbor of Long Beach. The inspiration board allowed for this nautical themed wedding to be unique, fun, and elegant as we had a chance to play with the dessert bar by incorporating cute donut lifesavers!
At the ceremony, ropes resembling those of boats, lined the aisle and were incorporated in the brides bouquet. The bride and groom had their very own personalized stationary with an anchor design as well as custom linens and napkins. The ring pillow had an anchor design as well. We got creative with the bride and groom sign using the nautical inspiration and created the captain and first mate sign! The personalized dance floor monogram was an eye catcher for all of the guests.
With a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the wedding’s beautiful light blue, navy, light grey and soft butter details, Wonhee and Sungmin invited their guests to come sail away with them on their next journey together. Studio EMP did a fabulous job with the photography at the wedding!
Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills I Susie + Charles

Love in late summer blossomed when Susie and Charles said their I-do’s at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Hotel has several different functioning rooms available for weddings, however, Susie and Charles chose to marry outdoors in the gorgeous Wetherly Gardens. The lush green lawn and beautiful architecture dressed up the venue just enough, allowing each flower arrangement to stand out. As guests entered the venue, the welcoming table was decorated with different types of red flowers. The bride walked down the white petal filled aisle with her red bouquet, where her soon-to-be husband stood next to two pedestals topped with branches and red flower arrangements. As guests made their way inside the reception area, the room was lit by the the grand windows overlooking the terrace. Susie and Charles enjoyed their night with their guests at the photo booth and dancing away on the dance floor that had their beautiful custom monogram! Bella Destinee truly loved the simplicity and elegant design on Susie and Charles’ special day!

A melodious wedding in a timeless venue, Tina and Jonathan were the sweetest couple with unique ideas for their special day. We invested 10 months planning this wedding, all beginning with the couple’s engagement session. The ceremony was held at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. The formal Cathedral of St. Vibiana dates back to 1876. The cathedral is modeled after the Italian Baroque style, that is dramatic yet tasteful. Key elements to this wedding design were pieces of sheet music used in several different ways. The addition of candle light during the reception added warmth to the white floral and the venue itself. One of our favorite elements was designing and styling the dessert table on the vintage piano and vintage furniture. A special thank you to Callaway Gable for the amazing photographs!
Destination Wedding {Palmila Los Cabos}

I often get asked where I would want to get married. As a wedding planner, I should have an answer. Wrong! To be honest, I have too many favorite places and I’m kind of shame to be indecisive.
This gorgeous wedding was featured in bridalbar and it totally swept me away. This will be a dream destination wedding and I thought I should share this with you.
The couple wed at the famed One & Only Palmilla Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. The invitation suite was designed and created by the uber talented Laura Hooper of Laura Hooper Calligraphy. Talk about setting the tone, this invitation covered everything wedding guests could possibly want to know. From a weather card informing guests of the highs and lows expected during their travel to a postcard rsvp with multiple events described so that guests could reply to each – no element was overlooked by this adventurous couple. Laura even printed instructions for guests in both English and Spanish so no one was left in the dark.
Dining beachside was more than just an impromptu bbq, the interactive stations and delectable fresh fruit and desserts gave guests the chance to indulge and kick back and enjoy the setting at the same time.
