PRINTABLE ALPHABET BUNTING

.

.

I love how Ruffled blog shared this free download bunting that we can actually use! What a neat idea!

Carolynn from Two Brunettes designed an alphabet bunting ready to print. All letters come in different patterns and colors, including a heart spacer.

Click on each letter to download and form your sign! Some letters have more than one pattern/color, so you can mix and match. Probably mix more than match, if you catch my drift. Simply print, cut and thread a pretty ribbon or twine with the help of a paper punch hole.

Dessert Bar

I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about the Asian dessert bar we created for Tiffany & Josh’s wedding… so here is “how to make your dessert table stand out” for those of you who wanted to know.

First, we begin by choosing a theme which should be easy based on your overall wedding theme. Then we want to make sure that we have a variety of desserts so we can please as many guests as possible, add the colors that match the wedding color scheme and accentuate bride & groom’s favorite dessert to make it personal and fun. Lastly, we spice up with some creative elements such as signs or a little notes explaining why the couple chose these sweets, props and linen, etc… then the rest will be history.  I’m sure if you follow this recipe, your dessert bar will stand out and excite your guests.

- Variety Japanese rice cookies (Easily found at any Asian market such as Mitsuwa)

- Mini fondant cakes “The Nigiri Set Sushi” (We custom ordered)

- Monaka (Red bean cookies) – Individually wrapped with our stationery paper

- Green tea cupcakes

- Japanese Mochi & Korean rice cakes

- Props to enhance the look

DIY Weddings | Purple Picnic

This DIY lunch idea from Project Wedding is absolutely gorgeous!  I love the customization of the lunch. Next to the actual ceremony, nothing puts us over the moon like all the little details of a wedding. Making details and “branding” the wedding can actually be done on-the-cheap. I think this idea would also be wonderful for a relaxed midday wedding that is held outside. Everyone could enjoy a beautiful picnic together. For complete details to create this beautiful lunch simply visit Project Wedding.

Homemade Wedding Favors: Honey Jars

.

Have your guests buzzing about what a sweet couple you make!

Materials

- Ribbon of your choice
- Mason jars of any size
- Honey to fill each jar
- Personalized Wedding Labels –wedding favour labels

Tip: You can go to a famers market and purchase honey already in Mason jars without labels. Then all you need to do is personalize the jar.

A bee theme is adorable for a garden wedding. Add other bee themed items with a “Meant to Bee” wedding thank you card and mini magnet wedding favour.

Art with Heart.

It’s the Friday of the long upcoming Valentine’s Day weekend (including the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday). I was browsing the net and came across this nifty idea at etsy.com:

These personalized framed paper hearts are easy to make and affordable too! This is a simple yet thoughtful way of making a loved one a memorable gift. You can put your picture or a picture of your loved one in the middle of the paper cut-off hearts, you can sign your initial on the bottom of the frame, its possibilities are endless!

How about giving your special somebody your love framed with hearts? You can make it for your friend, your family, your lover, or even for yourself :)
