As seen on Style Me Pretty, this photo shoot was so much fun! I threw out the idea of incorporating my ever-growing love for all things ombré a couple months ago, and we were off on a journey to build something beautiful. After weeks of planning, crafting, and contacting vendors, the details finally all came together and the result was absolutely gorgeous.

Without any further ado…I hope you enjoy, and are inspired, by this springy, vintage-purple-ombré shoot!

I know I say I love all of my couples (which I do!), but Tina & Jon were extra special Their wedding was at the Vibiana, Los Angeles, a few weeks ago and it was definitely a classic, romantic and fun wedding! Brian and Allison from Callaway Gable worked their magic and made these photos absolutely unforgettable. I cannot wait to share the full details of the wedding with you. Wow~ Choosing images for this blog post was incredibly hard! YingYing & Stew were just stunning. They got married at the beautiful Langham, Pasadena last summer and I loved every second of it! This wedding was so special because one, YingYing and I went to the same high school and two, it was a destination wedding for them since they both lived in New York.

Thank you, YingYing and Stew, for having me as part of your day! I really enjoyed working with you for the last 10 months of planning and your wedding will always hold a special place in my heart! I’m so happy for you guys!

Happy Friday! I hope you are having a lovely week so far!

My week is best summed up in one word: whirlwind! I have been extremely busy for the past few weeks, gearing up for the spring weddings coming up. I love seeing my darling clients on various meetings and I am eagerly looking forward to all the fabulous events we’re planning & designing for them. I’m seriously too excited~~!

As you may all know, I always carry a camera everywhere I go. I just love taking photos of anything interesting and inspiring. So here are some random snap shots of my life lately…

A couple of weeks back I had the pleasure of attending The Cream, a wedding showcase at the trendy Book Bindery in Culver City. It was so neat to finally have seen this ultra-unique, urban-chic venue!

Strawberry Farms Wedding | Lucy + Geoff

Happy Monday everyone! I have a sweet, fun wedding to share with you guys today. It took place at Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA, featuring a fun red barn.

Lucy and Geoff are absolute soul mates. Their wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple- thoughtful, warm and soooooo much fun. It was just an incredible wedding encompassing so many personal touches throughout- my personal favorite being the hot chocolate bar. Guests enjoyed making their own hot chocolate flavor as it kept them warm for this December wedding. Since Lucy was an art director, she designed all of her stationery so it was twice as more meaningful. As you will see, the wedding was an extremely beautiful, soft, and romantic kind of day. It all came together creating a wedding that truly made anyone’s heart flutter.

Lucy + Geoff: Thank you for the ridiculous laughter we shared over the past year, and for the tears of joy you brought to my eyes on your wedding day. I couldn’t be happier to see two such wonderful people be united in marriage!

A big thank you to Brandon Kidd for capturing all the beauty of the day. I had so much fun!

Her bridesmaids spelled out her name. So adorable, right?

I got very emotional when I saw her in a gorgeous wedding gown

and we both had tears coming down (I tend to do that when my special friends get married…)

Kate Moss at the Ritz in Paris, makes me wish 3 things there: the gorgeous Chandelier, the perfect length coat, and that unbelievable room. The whole scene is amazing.

Utterly Engaged Leap Year Party at Pandora | Bella Destinee Weddings and Events

Each year Utterly Engaged magazine hosts a design challenge party where teams compete for the best tablescape design. I had the opportunity to attend the Leap Year Remix Party held at Pandora on Green in Pasadena a few weeks ago. The event benefited Shelterbox (an amazing organization that provides survival kits in disaster torn areas), and each team designed tablescapes by blending two cultures from countries that have been touched by Shelterbox. I fell in love with the bright colors and amazing textures used for each table.

My camera pictures don’t do any justice but below is the highlight of the evening. Enjoy~

Oh and let’s not forget this delightful dessert bar created by Pandora pastry chef! Chocolate cake pops, macaroons, red velvet cupcakes, and gourmet truffles kept me very hyper that evening. This picture below will prove just that! ^^

The jumping booth made us laugh so hard…
