Inés Di Santo, haute couture fashion and bridal designer partnered with Jobyna’s Bridal at the Americana Glendale to open their first entirely-dedicated bridal salon, Jobyna’s bridal by Ines Di Santo. The grand opening and launch party took place on November 12, 2009 with a fantastic party here Inés Di Santo was there to greet brides and party goers. Di Santo unveiled her Spring/Summer 2010 gowns fresh off the runway of New York Bridal Fashion week.

Ines Di Santo wedding gowns are always amazing. Always really high glam, really luxurious. But what I love the most about this season is the IN-FREAKING-CREDIBLE fabrics and detailing that she used. With European silks, embroidery, fabric rosettes, beading and trims…every design is a total work of art.

For larger holiday parties, Wolfgang Puck Catering is exclusively catering new event areas at Sony Pictures Studios, unofficially called the “Dining Room” and “the Park.” The indoor space has a modern, open dining room done in warm woods and large windows; it opens to an extensive patio area and adjoins a park with a lawn and fountain. The dining room holds 300 for seated events, or 500 for a reception; with the patio, add 200 seated or 250 for receptions. The park area holds 500 for seated events or 2,000 for a reception. Amenities include outdoor lighting, a large parking structure, built-in exterior power connections, and existing furnishings including wooden patio tables, high cocktail tables, and rounds.
I had the honor of meeting Wolfgang and got his autograph. He even gave me a bottle of champagne as a gift which I put into my wine collection. What a sweet guy! One of these days, I’m going to make some food with his recipe and open that bottle of champagne. Thanks Mr.Puck!

Wolfgang & Myself… One of the sweetest chefs I’ve ever met. Years ago, at Spago restaurant, he also came by my table to greet and give us a free appetizer. He’s a generous guy indeed.

Don’t get freaked out—they’re supposed to be wearing those maid outfits. L.A’s first “cosplay” cafe pays homage to the most extreme Japanese fashion: people who wear costumes all the time. Equal parts tea room, boutique and art space, Royal/T in Culver City, Calif. Royal/T is a Japanese pop world brimming with manga, CDs, accessories and various kawaii tchotchkes. And yes, there’s high tea and desserts to go with the French-maid servers.
With spectacular architecture and Susan Hancock’s playful and sophisticated art collection as a backdrop, Royal/T is a celebration of space that offers a truly dramatic and unique setting for parties and events.
An Exhibition Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty, I was looking forward to a quiet affair with sweet scones and chamomile milk tea.
Not surprised that Paris Hilton was a Hello Kitty FAN =)
