Jennifer + Shin | Wedding at Lawry’s {part 2}

.

.

Previously, I gave you a sneak peek on this wedding but there is still more to share (You can revisit that post for a quick recap on the vision for the event). Today, let’s have the amazing images speak for themselves and take you to this fabulous wedding!

In love with Anemone flowers

They laughed and giggled all day long so we asked for one serious look and this is what they gave us :)

My two favorite pictures from the day. Beauty + happiness

J + S: thank you for trusting me with the plans for your amazing day!

Meet Popcorn

.

As you may already know, I’m a huge dog lover and I grew up caring and loving them like my family. Popcorn is already 5 years old (hard to tell because he’s a tea-cup Maltese) and he thinks he’s a human like all other dogs. Sometimes he’d give me those sad eyes when I leave for work and I get extremely tempted to bring him along to my meetings. Sometimes I get lucky and catch him in action on my camera….and when he gives me that innocent look….gosh.. It’s hard to get mad at this boy no matter what…

Happy Sunday everyone!

.

This means he wants some beef….

.

One of his favorite clothes. I swear, he loves wearing different outfits. I have a drawer full of his clothes!

.

He likes to clean himself as well (inside my washing machine….but don’t worry. I always take him out :)

The Figuroa Mountain Farmhouse – Los Olivos

It’s time for another wedding feature! I am so delighted to share this lovely event with you today, as it was my favorite wedding in May, 2010 . With a vision for a fresh, chic, spring-inspired affair that reflected a love for nature. We discussed a citrus + green palette that had me absolutely smitten. The final result? a refreshing, cheerful, and altogether sweet scene that made me (literally) squeal with joy. In addition to our yummy fruit-inspired colors (orange, lime, tangerine…), we decided to play up the charm by integrating playful, vintage-feeling décor.

Jennifer + Shin | Wedding at Lawry’s Beverly Hills {Part 1}

.

.

Hello everyone!!  Today I’m thrilled to share one of the sweetest weddings. Jennifer and Shin got married at the famous Lawry’s Beverly Hills back in April. Jennifer was such a down-to-earth kind of girl and also kept the planning process very cool & calm especially after she heard the news about the volcano eruption in Iceland which caused the shortage of all spring flowers.  Planes transport almost 90 percent of all popular spring flowers, including peonies and tulips (which were her main flowers), to the United States from Holland but, with planes grounded because of the volcano, it became difficult to send overseas.  My good friend Kerim from My Wedding Blooms went the extra mile  to get the flowers she wanted and worked his magic to make things more beautiful at the end though.  Everything from stationery to florals was clean and simple utilizing a palette of pure white,  pastel pink with a navy blue accent.  Jennifer and Shin delighted their guests with a host of treats including meatballs and potato fries, a scrumptious candy display which served as the place cards, the famous Lawry’s prime rib and mouthwatering sea bass and always crowd-pleasing dessert bar!  Best of all, the day was filled with so much love and happiness. Who could ever complain about the warm, melting chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a dessert after a decadent meal? This was one of the yummiest weddings ever!

.

J+S: Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day!  I adore you both and wish you a lifetime of joy together.  Jennifer – thanks for being such a cool bride! Shin – Your genuine love towards Jenn is so beautiful and thanks for being so humorous during our meetings. =)

Congratulations from all of us at bella destinee

Shiri + Dante | Santa Monica Engagement Session

Shiri + Dante = Magic Love

Yey~Shiri & Dante’s engagement photos are finally here. They are one special couple that I’ll always remember.  I’ve poured my whole heart into their wedding so I already miss them a lot as I’m writing this post. Shiri was such a dream bride to work with; I cannot imagine a more joyful bride than her! From day one, I knew this wedding was going to be special, memorable and fun.  Shiri and I clicked right away, had very similar taste in almost everything (crazy, huh?), she was on top of everything like a planner, and we both fell in love with this charming, one of a kind green venue called, Marrakesh in Culver city.

Dante may be known as the “HULK” around his friends but I’d say he’s a “sweet Teddy Bear” around Shiri. He was always there when she needed him and gave full support and love.  Below are some samples of simply beautiful, utterly perfect photos courtesy of my new pal, Emily. (She is an incredible artist and an all-around great person; working with her was such a pleasure and i can’t wait to do it again soon!!).

I know you’ll NOT want to miss their complete wedding story/photos so stay tuned until I post it soon, but first a little sneak preview of this wonderful couple at Santa Monica College (where they met) and the Pier.

So natural and cute… Look at that SMILE….
